Haflong, November 4: In a significant move towards promoting industrial investment and accelerating economic development in Dima Hasao, Chief Executive Member (CEM) Debolal Gorlosa held an important meeting with renowned industrialist Vinita Singhania, Chairperson and Managing Director of JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd., on October 30, 2026.
According to a post shared by CEM Debolal Gorlosa on his official Facebook page, the meeting was held in the presence of Shri Shrivats Singhania, Deputy Managing Director of the company.
The interaction took place under the leadership of Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and is being viewed as an important step towards exploring new opportunities for industrial investment in Dima Hasao.
Sharing details of the meeting, CEM Debolal Gorlosa expressed optimism that such initiatives would help attract new industries, generate employment opportunities for local youth, encourage entrepreneurship and strengthen the district's economic foundation.
